Ricky's Pool
Built primarily for match anglers, the Pool is Rectangular in shape with a moat like appearance with a causeway leading to the large central island. On this island is space for parking and 27 nicely set-out pegs. With the banks gently sloping down to four feet, this is a great match venue that is available to any club for match bookings or day ticket anglers when matches are not taking place.

The fish stocks in this pool are primarily aimed at match anglers to produce good catch weights. The current record, set in June 2009 by Shane Sayer stands at 107lb 8oz for a 5 hour match. Several weights of 100lb+ have been recorded and 60lb+ would be expected if you wanted to win a match.
A good head of Commons, Mirrors and F1 Carp to about 4lbs with known fish topping the 9lb mark.
There is also a good stock of Bream, Crucians, Tench, Roach, Rudd and Chub.

The pool can be fished by anyone except when matches are taking place and is ideal for practice sessions away from the pleasure anglers. Contact the fishery for match details either by calling 024 76310695 or email: info@parkersfishery.co.uk
Designed with Pole fishing in mind, this is the most consistant way to catch. Most anglers fish to the far bank and Pegs 20 and 21 are especially productive when fishing this way although all pegs regulary produce good weights.(For the latest catch reports, please see our Club Match News tab under Match Fishing)
Regular catches are taken using Maggots, Casters, all types of Pellets, Sweet Corn, Luncheon Meat and bread. Floating Bread, Pellets and Dog Biscuits will also attract the Carp in this pool.
